Honoring a True Hero in Education: Dr. Stewart’s Retirement

Like Us

At Women On The Move Network, we know that true heroes don’t always wear capes—sometimes, they lead schools, open doors, and make space for programs that empower the next generation. Today, we celebrate Dr. Stewart, a longstanding supporter of our Who’s Your Hero? program and a true champion of youth empowerment.

For years, Dr. Stewart welcomed the Who’s Your Hero? program into Bemis School, and earlier at Hughbanks School, offering encouragement and support at every turn. Their openness and dedication helped us bring our mission—teaching self-respect, confidence, leadership, and integrity—to hundreds of young girls in a safe, nurturing environment.

Dr. Stewart’s commitment has left a lasting mark not only on our organization but in the lives of every student we reached at their schools. It is with deep gratitude that we honor them on the occasion of their retirement.

Though their role in education may be shifting, we hope Dr. Stewart will continue to be a part of our extended Women On The Move family. Retirement is not the end—it’s a well-deserved new beginning.

Dr. Stewart, thank you for believing in our girls. Thank you for believing in us.

With heartfelt appreciation,
The Board of Directors of Women On The Move Network
